Iliad’s response to a non-profit in need of urgent support

Overview

One of Iliad’s long-time clients, RiverWise, approached us with an urgent request. In just six days, they were scheduled to present in Washington D.C., seeking a significant grant to improve community health, climate resilience, and economic opportunity.

The Problem

While RiverWise had a strong foundation with their website, changing priorities and resource limitations meant that their recent achievements had not been fully reflected online. To help secure vital funding, they needed the last twelve months’ worth of content to be uploaded and presented in a way that would engage potential funders. This required organizing the content in a user-friendly, visually appealing format that highlighted their most important work.

In addition to the content updates, RiverWise required a professionally designed landing page for their upcoming grant initiative, one that would captivate stakeholders and draw attention to their mission. Both tasks had to be completed in just five business days, requiring seamless collaboration with the RiverWise team. This also meant a full redesign of the website’s visual appearance.

Our Solution

Our team immediately dove into the project. We uploaded thousands of media assets, including news articles, YouTube videos, project pages, and galleries. Although our custom-built CMS facilitated this organization, we worked closely with RiverWise over several days to ensure the media was correctly labeled, positioned, and optimized for their audience. Alongside content updates, we introduced user experience improvements, enhancing site navigation for future visitors..

Simultaneously, we designed and launched a brand-new landing page for RiverWise’s initiative. To ensure it grabbed attention, the page’s design was distinctly different from the rest of the site, showcasing the nonprofit’s accomplishments and ongoing efforts with absolute clarity.
